During Berlin Art Week 2022, the Neue Nationalgalerie presented
“Huddle”, a work by the US artist and choreographer Simone Forti
dating from 1961. “Huddle” is part of Forti’s groundbreaking and
internationally influential series “Dance Constructions,” which began
in the early 1960s and premiered in Yoko Ono’s Manhattan loft.
On the night of Art Week Peak, the performance of “Huddle” was
followed by “Chandelier IV”, piece by the New York’s artist
Miles Greenberg, the performance “Every cell in the body knows
where down is” by Maria F. Scaroni and Eddy Levin, and the
music performances of Billy Bultheel, Franky and personaljjesus.
