Ricardo Rossi

Rossi was born in 1930 in San Nicolás de los Arroyos, province of Buenos Aires. In 1948 he graduatedwith the title of chiseler and engraver from the Rómulo Raggio Municipal Technical School, where he trained with the Milanese master goldsmith, Juan Trotta. In 1955 he founded his own workshop “El Ombú” in partnership with other chiselers and silversmiths. He participated in the Second and Third Meeting of Silversmiths, exhibiting in the Historical Museum of the Cabildo of Salta, the Museum of Hispano-American Art “Isaac Fernández Blanco”, in Buenos Aires. He participated in the elaboration of the Millennium Mate at the National Museum of Decorative Art, the exhibition of Florencio Molina Campos (1996) and the Sun Fair at the Palais de Glace.
